Unauthorized charges and no service

I signed up to the Morningside branch about a month ago. I noticed that they they DOUBLE debited my account and immediately contacted Teddy who is the consultant that signed me up.

He proceeded to make up a lie by blaming Sanlam Reality for the amount they *******ly took off my account. I contacted Sanlam who said they have NEVER EVER had anything to do with stating debit order amounts.

I told Teddy and said a manager best call me - he said sure in an hour. That was last week needless to say NO call. My bank reversed the ******* amount which I told Teddy. He said there was an admin error and that they were re-submitting my paperwork. That was also last week.

Arrived to gym to be told my account unpaid and membership on hold!!!!??? Absolutely disgusting. Today I receive an sms demanding to pay again??

There is absolutely no one who knows what they are doing at Morningside. And now I’ve heard that debiting extra amounts from people a regular occurrence.

Be careful of signing anything with them and always check your bank statement as most people don’t.
