Unaunauthorised debit orders planet fitness

I was enquiring about taking out a gym contract, and clearly stated to the sales guy that to please hold on, due to my daughter not being well, the guy put through the contract and I have been debited off my bank account ever since. I have not attended the gym at all, and made multiple enquiries regarding the debit order, I have given the manager all dates and times to follow up with the conversations I had with his sales rep and even the manager has not gotten back to me. I feel they are very unprofessional, and not a company of their word as they say they will get back to you but dont. This is very frustrating as more than R1000 is debited off my account monthly which is not even a monthly subscription for the gym, which I did not even authorise. And even if I change my mind about wanting to attend the gym I will rather do this with virgin active, as planet fitness just looks like they a big *****s.
