Unable to cancel contract

On 2 June 2015 I cancelled the contract per email, on 3 Aug 2015 I again cancelled. There are 3 members on the contract. I asked that all be cancelled. Some lady named Pauline from Planet fitness contacted my children to ask if they could remove them from the system. Apparently they did. Now why was this contract not cancelled then?I went to the bank to return my gym deductions. Anthea contacted me on 4 Sept 2015 to find out when am I going to make payment. I told her that I would contact her office on Monday 07/09/2015. Today there is no one at their offices to assist me, I want a copy of the contract to see for myself how long this contract was for and to assist me. Even though I don't have a contract with them they phone me instead of my husband
