***ual Assault

I am extremely disappointed in Planet Fitness Lynnwood!!! This is something extremely person but since nothing is done about it I’m going to speak out because it could be happening to others as well!

On the 12th of July 2019, yes that long ago & nothing has been done, I was ***ually assaulted by another member at the gym. I immediately reported in on the day it happened. It took them 2 weeks to find the guy who assaulted me. I was called into the office to speak to the manager, Jacques, and he told me that it is being investigated and that it is being taken up to head office. The guy who did it was still allowed to attend gym! A month passes of me always asking what is happening and the manager always seemed to have a new excuse every time. I then called him and he then imp**** that it was my fault because on the camera footage I spoke to the guy when he approached me!! I mean the nerve. So just because I say hello back to someone when they speak to me, that implies that he is allowed to ***ually assaulted me?! I was soo angry to be told this!!! I then asked him to give me the details of the guy to go lay a charge against him and I wanted a copy of the footage & Jacques said that he was not allowed to give it to me. I then requested to be moved to Menlyn branch. To this day I have had no feedback from the manager, Jacques or Planet Fitness Head Office!!! And the guy just gets off Scott free, no implications whatsoever!!! I hope and pray this or anything worse does not happen to anybody else at the gym because I cannot begin to explain how violated, alone and terrified this has left me!!! And I know this may not be the right platform to do this but I think any awareness could save someone else.
