Top-tier gym ruined by pretentious trainers. Not all trainers some.

The gym ( Planet Fitness Fourways Mall ) itself is lovely—clean and stocked with top-tier machines like the Pendulum, V-squat, and Hack Squat. Planet Fitness never disappoints when it comes to the facility.

However, the trainer culture is a major letdown. Most of the male trainers act as if they own the floor and have a very pretentious, 'gatekeeper' energy. As a female gym-goer, it is incredibly uncomfortable that they never greet you first, and when you are polite enough to greet them, they look at you like you’ve done something weird. There is a definite 'mini-bully' vibe.

I’ve even had a trainer interrupt my set to give unsolicited advice while he was busy with his own client. It feels like you have to be a paying client for them to actually treat you like a human being. I’m there to focus on my workout and go home, not to deal with staff that lacks basic professionalism and boundaries. Great facility, but the trainers need a serious reality check.
