I will NEVER recommend PF to any of my friends or family. EVER.

My contract expired in August 2020. To date, I am still trying to cancel with them.

My first attempt, they stated that because of lock down, I have to pay the 5 months due to all our accounts being frozen. - Firstly, I cancelled my contract on the exact time which it was allowed. It is not my fault that there was a lockdown and you could not receive payment.

My second attempt - After continuing to deduct my monthly payments, I was told my contract cannot be cancelled due to the 5 months I "owed". I will have to pay my monthly amount until Feb 2021 wherein my contract will be cancelled. However I could still use the gym.

I try go to the gym, only to be blocked and told that I cannot use it because my contract has been cancelled. - PF is telling me I must still pay for 5 months but cannot use the gym?! ********!

My third attempt - After debiting the remaining (now) 4 months R1698.00 from my account yesterday all at once, they then deduct a further R998 from my account.

So after being told that I will have to pay until Feb 2021, someone in the PF decided that they are going to cancel my contract and authorize (without my knowledge or consent) to debit everything at once.

My fourth attempt, this morning - Call PF to find out what the hell is going on. Only to be told that the R1698 is the remaining amount I "owed" and R998 is my Vitality being cancelled. Odd seeing that I paid around R998 in the beginning to activate my Vitality, and a further R998 to cancel. Surely that is not allowed. The woman then proceeded to tell me now that Vitality is cancelled, I will still need to pay the R998 monthly PF installment for the months I "owe" because of lock down.

She further stated that she will put an immediate cancellation of my contract so that no further debit orders will be coming off. Apparently I will receive an email.

I am still waiting for the other Confirm of Cancellation emails from my previous attempts.

I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND ANYONE USE YOU!!! No one can get away from you, and if you do, you make sure that you deduct as much money as you can and when you can. Not one of your employees can tell you what is going on in accounts. What you do is ******** and disgusting.

The best part is, PF will tell you to read your contract. Funny thing is, I AM STILL WAITING FOR THAT FROM THE SALES REP when I joined a year ago.
