Theft at Planet Fitness

It is with huge disappointment that I am making this review. I have been a loyal patron at the planet fitness club in roodepoort, having had a contract there for many years. Unfortunately while training at this club I had my possessions ****** from me, along with a friends possessions whom I brought to the club as a guest. This incident was firstly described as our fault for not keeping our belongings with us, now this statement would have been valid if, 1) we were not in the pool swimming and 2) if we did not follow club rules and left our belongings in an UNLOCKED locker. This incident was reported and they explained they would investigate. I contacted head office a few days later who then expressed they had not received any notification from this club of any theft. I again contacted the club to enquire what was to be done about this theft and staff avoided to talk to me eventually saying that there was to much activity in the gym to complete there investigation. It was told to us the evening our possessions were ****** from a LOCKED locker by the patrons in the change rooms how they have also experienced their possessions being ******, I feel this to be gross negligence on the club's behalf not to warn there patrons of the on going theft problem in the club as I feel most people would take that warning and be more vigilant. Not only that but if this is an ongoing problem in the club why haven't staff done something about it, rather than make the victims of there negligence feel to blame. I have restored to making this review as it has been more than 2 weeks since this incident occurred and my enquiry labelled 'urgent' has yet to have any response!

Planet Fitness take responsibility for this negligence and make your consumers feel save!!!!
