TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I went to Planet Fitness to open up a contract. When I tried to open the contract I was told, I could not as I had an outstanding amount of around R15 000 due. I was unaware of this as I had never opened a contact with them before. I later found out that my mother open the account on my name without my knowledge. I went in again to find out how to sort this problem out as I wanted to join. One of the sales manager at the Platerkloof branch said they they could help me. I was told that everything was sorted out and I paid my R300 joining fee. I went to the gym once and all was fine until I went to a different branch. When I tried to get in, I was accused of Identity theft and I was so SHOCKED and EMBARRASSED as I did not understand why. I went back to Platerkloof to find out what was going on, only to discover that the sales manger had created my contract with a different ID number. I told them that this is RIDICULOUS and that I want my R300 joining fee back and I no longer want to be associated with them. They said they would give the money back and sort it all out. This happened in the beginning of the year and I still have not received my money or heard back and is still not sort
