Stay away from Planet Fitness

I was on a year's contract with Planet Fitness. The following year they put me on a month to month contract. I cancelled my member ship with them in July and received an email from them informing that "their are sad to see me go". It should be noted that a big part of my leaving was related to numerous disputes with them regarding my membership fee changing from one one to the next.

Last month, please note that this is since I cancelled in July, I received a notification that my outstanding fees with them have been submitted to their attorneys. I have submitted proof of cancellation to their attorneys to no avail. Instead I keep receiving text messages about an urgent payment being required. Watch out for planet fitness. I love fitness and have been with numerous gyms and they are the worst thus far! Cant be trusted.
