Smelling, Disgusting and broken

I have been a member at Planet Fitness at the Wedge Shopping Centre for nearly a year. In the beginning things were ok and it had what I would expect at a gym, but things then began to slide. Firstly, there was a smell in the men's showers that smelled like sewage. I brought it to their attention and it took several months to sort out. During this time, I also went into the toilet area and the urinals were so smelly that I had to go and use a booth. Coming back into the changeroom was Planet Fitness Personal Trainer whose body odour was so bad, I nearly gagged. Needless to say, even after my return from the shower, the smell hung around - disgusting. The final straw occurred over the past two weeks. After a workout, enjoying a shower and the steam room are a particular pleasure. I understand the during Covid, the steam room had to close, but upon re-opening, it did not not take long for it to break down. I have been assured over the past few weeks it was going to be repaired, but to date, this has not happened. I hope the owners of Planet Fitness read this. We pay good money to use your facilities and stuck with you during the difficult times. What you are now giving us is frankly less than 3rd rate. Smelly, broken and with Virgin Active down the road, I be joining them and cancelling with you.
