SHOCKING SERVICE (IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE)!!!

<p>My boss is a long-standing member of Planet Fitness Wanderers Club (12-15 years) and trained there regularly until recently. At the end of January, he was badly shocked/electrocuted while using one of their treadmills. There was some sort of short circuit and an electrical current passed through his body for 7-8 seconds (according to video footage). He had a meeting to discuss the incident on 1 February with the manager and it was agreed that he would keep them informed. Subsequent to this meeting, we have sent numerous emails to the manager and most recently, to the PA of the CEO of Planet Fitness in South Africa informing them that my boss has had a number of physio sessions and seen various doctors regarding pains in his elbows, his back and his neck and weakness in his arms since this incident. An ultrasound on 7 April revealed that he is suffering from 'tennis elbow'. We have not had the courtesy of any response from anyone at Planet Fitness either via email or a telephone call. I have tried calling on two occasions to leave messages to no avail. It is quite astounding that they do not seem to care about such a serious incident!</p>
