Shady, ********* & downright ********.

I approached the Bedfordview branch of Planet Fitness in May of this year. After being a loyal member at the Centurion branch for many years & now having relocated. I informed the consultant that I was sorting my vitality status out as I was between jobs. I instructed her not to activate anything until my vitality status was updated. She assured me that nothing would be done as I still had to provide my ID copy.

Unknown to me I was put on a R900 pm membership for 24 months & now am being harassed by debt collectors. I am now engaging the National Credit Regulator & Consumer protector to assist. You met with a manager at the club called Granville who admitted the error was on their part in activating this contract. However nothing has been done to date.

My advise to anyone is not to be duped by the shady sakes team at Planet Fitness.
