Selling contracts and then denying it

My husband was sold a contract by Maureen from Planet fitness Craighall. Only my husband signed a contract. My children and I never signed any contracts. We wanted to cancel and I have been sending emails to Planet fitness since 19 August 2020. All of a sudden Planet fitness does not sell family contracts. Mine was already cancelled on 20 August after they phoned me and the guy that phoned spoke to my husband and he was told to cancel the family contract. Again I send an email on the 2nd of September and they spoke to my husband, son and daughter to cancel the contracts. They deducted money from my account for my son and daughters so called contract which was cancelled with the same phone call on 2 September. Now they state that there is a 30 day notice but I have been cancelling since 19 August. And now the date changed to end September. I cancelled a family contract but had to cancel 4 times. I will never go to a Planet fitness again as the consultants sell you a family contract that after a while apparently does not exist and they keep on deducting money.
