Schemes to make you pay higher

What an absolute shambles of a sign up procedure from Planet Fitness Brackenfell. The consultant got my contract completely wrong. Firstly signed up the 12 month contract instead of a 24 month contract which attracts a higher membership fee. Failed to initially apply my Sanlam Reality benefit and then asked me to then pay extra afterward to apply this benefit. Went back to the gym reception to advise I am being billed incorrectly and they said to call Customer Service. When calling customer service they are completely condescending stating that I signed the contract even though I told them I have a full WhatsApp conversation with their sales reps advising to sign the contract that he will fix but he needs to get the membership in the system first. All they did was say I can cancel but will have to pay a cancelation fee. Be extremely careful when joining Planet Fitness and their schemes to make you pay higher, rather join a trusted and reliable club where they assist you properly.
