This gym in Rosebank deserves to be shut down they are nothing ******** and money *****ers. I feel abused, ****** and it is ***** what you guys are doing. When signing up them I was never informed that the contract they were selling me was a two contract and I thought I had a time frame to be able to cancel my contract without fees. I was also not told that there was an expiry date on the free bag that they promised me when I signed up. when I went to claim my promised free bag the staff member at the front desk that day was rude to me. she told that it had expired, while she tore up my stamp card in front of me. when I told them that I was never told about the expiry date and that i was promised this bag, she laughed at my face and said to me that if i wanted a bag i had to buy it liked everyone else and walked away to help another member waiting in line. I was so upset that I wanted to cancel my membership. I have asked for the procedures of how to cancel my membership and no one from Planet fitness can assist me. they told me to call customer service. when I asked for the number they told me to look it up on google because they were too busy to get the number. when I finally got hold of customer service I spoke to a rude person who never bothered to understand or call me back about my situation even though they said that they would get back to me within 72 hrs. after calling 10 more times all I got from this person is an email demanding me to pay my cancellation fee of R4 672.80 which obviously I will not be able to pay as I am struggling to pay the monthly fee the gym wants me to pay already. I am not impressed with the way Planet fitness have handled my request and no one cares. they are nothing but ******** and all they want is your money. they don't care about their members unless you pay.
