RudeNess is it the tagline of PlanetFitness

<p>I signed up for a contract a week ago with Planet Fitness Rivonia MegaClub. At the time of signing the contract I took my family along with me 4 year and 7 year old kids. I explained my requirement that I will have to visit the gym with my whole family. The sales guy said yes and explained how the charges are and I signed up the contract.</p> <p> </p> <p>Today when I entered along with my kids and wife, one guy stopped at the entrance and said Kids are not allowed. I said this was not told me at the time of signing the contract. I asked him where should I keep my kids now. He said I must wait near the entrance where it is freezing cold. I asked him how safe it is? He says we are not responsible for the safety. I said this is not fair. The way he responded was so rude, which I never expected from any one at a manager level. He gave me a card and said call the contact centre and cancel your contract and we still charge you the penalty as per the contract.</p> <p> </p> <p>What is planet Fitness is trying to do? FOR the sake of money.... shame...</p> <p> </p> <p>I was in UK, US and Poland and Belgium. The gym staff are so professional and give respect to humans. </p> <p>Is this how you treat a member who is with 4 year old kid making us to wait in the freezing cold.</p> <p> </p> <p>If this is the policy why this was not communicated to me in writing?</p> <p> </p> <p>I read all the policies in the website. It was not mentioned anywhere that kids are not allowed even to wait along with a parent in the launge.</p> <p> </p> <p>Can any one tell me what are the legal rights and how to proceed legally.</p> <p> </p> <p>They way 2 staff members behaved so rudely, we decided no point continuing as it appears to be the culture of the firm (Rudrness).</p> <p> </p> <p>The story didn't end here ... in front of me they allowed another family with kid who came in there to sign the new contract for the gym membership.</p> <p> </p> <p>When I was returning another staff member came and apologised and said it was so rude behaviour which their colleagues behaved with us.</p> <p> </p> <p>First treat humans as humans with due respect.</p>
