Requested Account Freeze, Now Facing Unfair Debt Collection!

I signed up for a Planet Fitness membership and requested to freeze my account when I became unemployed. Despite my request, I was still charged, and now I’ve been handed over to a debt collection agency without any prior notice from Planet Fitness.

I was never informed that my account would be handed over, and now I’m being chased for R2,000 that I cannot afford. This is extremely unfair, as I tried to do the right thing by requesting a freeze.

Planet Fitness, please resolve this issue and provide a fair solution! I expect proper communication and for my case to be reviewed.
