refusal to cancel my contract

so i joined the gym over a year ago and i signed a one year contract now i moved and i went to the gym to end the contract i called the call centre and they sent me a request saying i have being proceed the first month after they charged me i thought it was cancellation charge but the have being removing above 300 from my acct even when i didn't use to pay up to that amount this is the second month now that they are charging me every time i call they tell me the server is down
