R2 000-00 for Cancellation Fees???

I need to cancel my contract since I can't afford the monthly fee as you can see from the returned debit orders. I wouldn't cancel this if I had the money. Now I'm being charged almost 2k for cancellation fees? Why??? I've been a member since the beginning of 2016 and can't carry on any longer because of my financial situation. Obviously I'm trying to fix this by cancelling unneeded items on my budget and once I'm ready, I'd continue with gym membership, but right now it's ridiculous to demand money from someone who doesn't have any.
