Predatory terms and breach of contract!

I called to cancel my contract months before it ended now 3 months after the end of my contract I am told that now I owe them R2500 and an additional months premium! I specifically made my desire for my membership to end at the end of my fixed term contract with planet fitness Wanderers branch.

As per the contract I was supposed to get communication from them stating that my contract is coming to an end giving me another opportunity to re-affirm my desire to have my gym membership end at the end of my FIXED TERM _CONTRACT! This failure is also a breach of my contract with planet fitness. I do not take kindly to comments from their consultants asking if I read the contract when it was them who failed on their performances.

This is predatory behaviour over a failure on their end to close my membership with them. I called them again today on the 20th Of January 2023 and I am still waiting on their cancellation department.
