Please stay away from Planet Fitness

I've been struggling for a year a now just to cancel my Planet Fitness account. Every time I called to cancel they would give me more fees that I need to pay before I can cancel. My 24 months finally came to an end in March 2021. Once again I was told I need to pay for another 5 months due to the gym closing for lock down in 2020. My biggest frustration is that Planet Fitness does not communicate these small hidden T's & C's to their members, when signing the contract they rave about all the benefits (which isn't much anyway) but don't inform you of the small hidden fees they will take during the year. I personally feel exploited by Planet Fitness as a member, this gym clearly does not care about their members and is only money driven. I'd advise anyone to stay away from Planet Fitness.
