Plattekloof Planet Fitness - horrible service and staff

The Plattekloof branch of Planet Fitness is absolutely **********! Shortly after I had signed up with the gym, I canceled within the 5 day cooling off period. The fees are ridiculously high.

After speaking to the sales manager, Robert, he agreed to give me a discounted rate on the monthly fees (which were still hard to afford). I refused and proceeded with the cancelation.

For 2 straight months thereafter, Planet Fitness still continued to debit my account (and at the incorrect membership fee!).

It has taken me 3 months to successfully get the debit order canceled. Once that was confirmed by SMS, they then proceeded to deduct a whopping R3000 out of my account on New Year's eve - without my consent.

The consultants at the gym gave me inaccurate and false information when signing up. The consultant, Ellen, signed me up and had a serious lack of communication. The sales manager, Robert, was also extremely disrespectful toward me as a single female.

I do not recommend this facility as they are not interested in the consumer - only the money they are willing to take.
