PLATNESS FITNESS DENIES MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION AND KEEPS ON DEBITING MY ACCOUNT. THEY HAVE NOW SENT LAWYERS TO HARRASS MY SON, WHO IS A STUDENT AND UNEMPLOYED, THEY ARE THREATENING TO BLACKLIST HIM

I canceled mine and my son's membership in April 2024. Planet Fitness kept on debiting mine and my son's fees from my banking account regardless. I kept on reversing the payments. I called my club, Fourways to help and they kept on referring me to the head office, where I will talk to different people, telling me different stories and failing to confirm my cancellation.

To make matters worse, now Platness Fitness has now sent lawyers to my son, who is a student and unemployed. The lawyers are harassing my son and threatening to blacklist him, it's so unbearable for my son.

Planet Fitness does not even have an email that you can use to cancel your membership, they need you to cancel telephonically, because you can't prove that you canceled your membership and they can continue taking your money.
