PLATINUM GYM PLANET FITNESS CONTRACT AND COMPLAINT

To whom this may regard.

I contacted PLATINUM and joined the gym a month ago, the consultant who assisted me called me and advised the best price would be R399 for the first three months and then R699 for the monthly fee, the initial agree and discussion was to join in at the platinum, the day I signed the contract the agent who came to me to discuss and sign advised me that the platinum gym will be closing down and moving over to Catherine, he mentioned they were still in process of renovating, yesterday I had visited the new gym but was told that the platinum is no longer closing down, however I wouldn’t be able to use it, I was under the impression that I had signed up for the platinum membership and once they closed I would automatically move over to the new gym.

This was misleading and a huge confusion,I went into the gym to discuss with the sales agent, he advised that they were advised one day before they moved to the new gym that the platinum is no longer closing. however they are unable to do anything, due to the confusion with the gym closing down and then no longer shutting down, would you please move me over to the platinum for the current signing fee that I had agreed upon.

Reason why I joined platinum was due to the fact that I live with my sister and we travel together , considering my transport factor and times as well I joined in, due to this entire confusion and mess up, and due to the fact that they don’t want to cancel without charging me a cancellation fee, could you kindly move me over to platinum for the same current fee which I am paying,

I am very disappointed with the confusion and now I won’t make it to go to the new gym it’s out of my way, the contract doesn’t even state the address as well.

Would you consider cancelling with immediate effect without me having to pay a cancellation fee which I wouldn’t afford, or would you please consider moving me over to platinum upon the initial sign up discussion.
