Planet fitness = WORST gym EVER!! Stay away

This is the worst gym ever. Since joining in Dec 2025 I've been having issue upon issue and NOTHING gets resolved. False information provided by the first sales manager not disclosing ALL joining fees, incorrect membership contract loaded, promises made to wave fees, getting a free month's membership which never happened, inconsistent information received from staff on usage of certain equipment. To top it all off upon signing up planet fitness made a mistake with one of the ID numbers. Since joining we've never been able to enter the gym without someone's tag that blocked. I've complained numerous times, went again to sign, escalated but nothing gets resolved. Now as of this moment they've loaded new tag fees for my children on the account which is yet another mistake AND all of a sudden there are 5 dependents on my membership instead of 4 and only one is active, the rest was blocked. None of the gym's sales managers care enough to just sort it out once and for all and the GM cares even less and doesn't even want to take my call. I'm at a loss as to how this can be resolved because it just seems like an impossible task. I've heard that cancelling will only cause them to debit ridiculous amounts from your account which is in fact ******* so what is the solution here? please don't ever join - it's a nightmare to say the least.
