Planet fitness Westwood mall

Planet fitness Westwood mall Durban is extremely disappointing. Management does whatever they feel like and ignores members complaints. We were told head office made a rule that both, spin class and the main studio should be closed and only opened 30mins before a class starts. A jhb member had informed a few of us waiting to go into a class that the jhb planet fitness does not lock the studios. I had asked the manager and he said it wasn't head office, it's their decision (Westwood) to implement this rule. When I asked why he said members who could not get to the gym early complained, yet we are always told they can't make everyone happy. So us members must stand outside the studios like idiots because members can't get to gym on time. Is it not 1st come bases??? keeping the classes closed for those members doesn't mean there will be a spot for them. Planet fitness Westwood would rather have a group of members standing close together no social distancing and pushing to get into a class than allowing members to book their spot as they arrive and disperse. I then said making us stand outside the studio is pointless where as we could have booked our spot and went and worked out on the other machines. He told me he didn't ask me to wait. I asked him if I go work out and come back to a long queue and there is no spot for me he had the nerve to tell me then I must get to the studio early. We are paying a membership and can't access the spin class or studio???

Secondly the aircon has not been working for half of the year and everytime we ask when will it be fixed for months we hear we waiting for head office. What is head office doing with our maintenance fee over and above our monthly fee? We must beg for air-conditioning during a pandemic with a fast spreading virus and in this extreme heat. Their don't care attitude is appalling. To top it of some of the staff have a problem with the class doors been left open when the aircons are not working. They have one China mall fan per studio and these are supposedly enough to cool a full studio with members doing high intensity workouts
