I am extremely disappointed at Planet fitness and the way they handled my complaint and query. George straight up **** to my face. My son went to the Waterkloof branch to sign up for the black tag deal they had. George explained the R150 per month for the black tag deal. He did however not explain the full process to me that the main member needs to be present when signing up for that deal. (the main member was willing to add my son as the black tag ) He was very eager for my son to sign and what did he do HE made my son sign a full membership contract. HE straight up **** to us. I requested the black tag deal from George and he again explained the R150 p/m for the black tag deal. Now according to their so called investigation they did, they do not revert back to you with answers they just left it.

After numerous emails and phone calls they just keep forwarding my emails to the one and then to another, never giving you updates or anything. They had the audacity to even take the money from my account without the outcome of the so called investigation. Again I phone the call center and spoke to Lungi, they do not even try to listen. According to the email I got I, (his mother) wants to gym. THEY DO NOT LISTEN. Their response was that I (his mother) cannot gym without having her own black tag.

I was never part of the complaint or the fact that I want to gym or anything, see their response:

Kindly note that your contract was not misrepresentated, you have signed up on a student package(R399 per month). Your mother cannot gym without having her own contract. If you wish you can take out a black tag which means your mother can only access when you access the club.

This is what I have been trying to tell them that they - George **** to me and misrepresented the contract.

In essence, Plant fitness may lie to you and its fine , if you want to cancel the contract which they **** about to start with I have to pay R800 cancelation fee. They make the mistake , they lie and I have to pay to get rid of them.

Never ever will I ever deal with planet fitness again. Be very careful, they can lie and get away with it.
