Planet Fitness. Very bad experience

I can say with full confidence that Planet Fitness is one of the worst gyms in South Africa. They are purely after your money. When I called the gym to cancel my membership they told me one story and then when it came to the cancellation they made me pay a whole extra month of which I am not allowed to attend the gym. The day I called the gym to cancel they explained that I did give a months notice and that it would be the last month payment deducted. However the next month they deducted again and when I called them the story changes. This happened after there is phone call recording proof that they did not explain it to me in that way. I also know for a fact I did not miss hear anything seeing that the same story was told to my father and sister when they tried cancelling their contract and they had to pay for an extra month as well.

I am utterly disappointed and disgusted in Planet Fitness and their communication and I feel that they just wanted to take my money. They did not once admit that they had a miss communication on their side.

If this where to be communicated from the start I would not have had a problem to pay it.

I gave Planet Fitness one star but I would prefer not giving them any stars at all.
