Planet fitness Valleyview - worst choice ever!!!!!!!!!

I truly regret signing up with this gym based in Valley View. The initial contract was not sold correctly, some information was withheld. I still opted to give the staff and the gym the benefit of the doubt and continued. Since then, taking my kids there have not been the best idea. There is facility for the kids.

funny enough, the previous times I have been there, it was no problem for me to take my kids inside. They are my responsibility, I understand that and I am quite okay with that. Your receptionist on duty this evening, however was quite rude and uncouth. Entry for my 6 year old daughter was denied, point blank. She is expected to sit at the table and chairs by herself, there is no security. How am I to expect my child to sit at the door past 7 o clock in the evening and hope that nothing happens to her.

I summoned for the manager on duty and insisted that she either come with me or I do go on. Funny enough, your rude receptionist told me the rules and regulations changed, yet your manager advised that the rules never changed, it was due to past experiences of some sorts that she would not be allowed.

I have more than one child, I am divorced and dont always have the luxury of someone looking after my kids, and I told the sales gent when I joined and was informed it would never be a problem. the first time I took them there, Micaela, who was very nice, allowed them access past the entry point, yet all of a sudden it changed.

I will not be placed in a position where I leave my child unsupervised, and you have no right to force me to do so, nor will I be bul****. Your staff this evening was rude, and have absolutely no people skills nor training in customer service for that matter.

I instructed your so called manager to remove the tag from my keys, and going forward I will no longer be associated with your institution.

The 2nd instance, again your receptionist suggested I get 2 extra tags for 2 of my kids that are above age, they would qualify for free membership until the age of 18. Free.. I took the time to get the birt certs as required, only to be informed it was R150 a tag. Apologies went flying all over the place for the misunderstanding.

Your staff have no idea what they are doing, and you deem it okay to change the rules as you go along. I never receive an invoice from your company, however you are very eager to send an sms to remind that your debit orders will be going off early due to the 25th falling on a weekend. It's disappointing, and believe me when I say I can find a nice institution much closer to home. Being with another gym in the past, your equipment is outdated as well.

I dont want to be apart of what ever it is you are trying to do. I no longer have my tag and insist that you cancel this contract immediate effect. Your receptionist was kind enough to inform that it is stipulated in the terms, funny I never received a copy of the contract, 2nd,, if it was in the contract terms all along, why were my kids allowed to come to the gym in the past.
