Planet fitness unfair cancellation

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and concern regarding a recent incident that has transpired with my Planet Fitness membership. If I could rate it a 0 star that would be an accurate rating. I have been a loyal member of Planet Fitness for over a year and I have always appreciated the services and facilities provided by your fitness center.

However, I was shocked to discover that my membership contract has been unilaterally canceled without my knowledge, consent, or any valid reason. This abrupt cancellation has not only breached the terms of our agreement but has also violated my rights as a paying member.

To provide you with some context, my membership agreement with Planet Fitness was signed in 2022 . I have been consistently making monthly payments, and there have been no issues with my payments.

The cancellation of my membership came to my attention when I attempted to access the gym on Tuesday (19 September) , only to be informed by the front desk staff that my membership had been terminated. I was not notified of this cancellation in advance, and I have received no communication or explanation from Planet Fitness regarding this matter.

I further called the customer care to get assistance with rectifying this as they breached the contract only to be assisted by an agent who rudely ended the call and was shouting at me instead of trying to find an alternative way to assist with my complaint.

I fortunately will not be going back to planet fitness after such and will gladly go to Virgin active!
