Planet fitness trick people into joining and do not fully disclose everything

I went into a branch at mall@55 last year to enquire about that R299 promotional deal, was told if I sign up at that very moment, I would qualify, because it's the first time walking into a planet fitness gym, next time I won't if I do not sign up. I then asked them what happens if i want to cancel, was told it won't be the a problem,I just notify them a month before,then it will be canceled the following month. I was not told about the the cancelation fee of which sometimes its R1600 or R2000, and that there is a maintenance fee of roughly R600. Its sad that you sales agents lie to us so that we could sign up, I feel ******* and lie to but its ok. Unfortunately I'm not alone in this one, two other people were also duped by your sales agents.
