planet fitness ,trapps you into membership and dept

Am Thabang Ndlovu If your thinking about joining the planet fitness gym please don't , i was a member Almost two years ago while i was staying at home ,so i joined the gym and the person "seller" who sells you the gym sold me lies about the gym and i believed him like a helpless victim ,thinking to myself why would he lie? anyways i decided tom move closer to varsity so i went to the planetfitnes located in Jubilee Mall, Cnr Jubilee Rd & Harry Gwala Ave, Hammanskraal, Pretoria, 0400 were i signed up for a student membership and two months later i told them that i wanted to cancel the account ,and they told me that there was nothing they could do and i needed to call the head office. so i did,and when i called the office a guy asked for my id,email and a reason why i was cancelling and , i told him that i was moving to a place close to varsity and they said its okay they will cancel it .later on a got a sms telling me that my account was cancelled fine.three month later they told be that my account had erros and they needed to fix them so that i could proceed with it and i was surprised because i thought it was cancelled .two months later they started to deduct money from my account and i sent a letter of complain and cancellation via email to their ********** and they rep**** that i need to pay the R4000+ within 42 hours so that they can cancel it. and now they are billing me and my dept is busy increasing because they said its auto renewal and they said that my account was handed to the landua attorneys .and the landau attorneys will never terminate the contract . what is the best thing that i could do?? can they bill me for the services they blocked me to use ???
