Planet Fitness: Think Twice Before Signing Up With Them

Think twice before signing up for membership at Planet Fitness. They employ untrained salespeople who can not fully explain certain questions about the clauses on the contract. Also demand your contract when you sign. What you are told by the sales person, by the manager and the Call Centre will be different. Also their policies are constantly changing depending on who you will be talking to. I requested to freeze my account due to financial difficulties which ultimately forced me to relocate. The manage said it was doable, the call centre said it was impossible, I qoute," We only freeze for medical reasons, Ramadan,over seas travel and if a member is pregnant."

Today their representative told me you can have account frozen on relocation if you provide proof.

I asked the sales person this question the day I signed contract and she laughed it off. Yes she laughed and said," Ah I don't know"
