Planet Fitness the biggest ***** and *******!!!

Planet Fitness is a *****!!! I joined Planet Fitness in January 2018 and was told that I will strictly only pay the monthly Fee they quoted me. That was done inside Planet Fitness with the sales consultant. I was then told to pay the membership fee and the tag immediately in order to make use of the gym. this was paid via speedpoint inside Planet Fitness the same day I signed the contract. The salesman then told me that my debit order will go off on the next debit date. YET NOTHING WAS SAID OR EXPLAINED TO ME ABOUT ANY PRO RATA AMOUNT....When the next debit date came they debit twice the amount for monthly payments as well as the PRO RATA that was not mentioned by any salesman or manager of Planet Fitness. I immediately then personally went to Planet Fitness and cancelled my membership after I explained why I am not interested in their ****s and false advertising of R99 membership fees. Suddenly after almost a year of fighting with them and trying to cancel debit orders for Planet Fitness they handed me over to Saya Recoveries and forced me to pay. I then explained to Saya recoveries that the membership was cancelled long time ago and never received any invoice ever or letter of cancellation and after numerous attempts just gave in. They then said that Planet Fitness never cancelled my membership and I owe them over R6000....which I refuse to pay because I cancelled the membership not even two weeks after signing and never used the gym since Jan 2018. now suddenly after two years Saya Recoveries want to send me a statement. I received my very first statement from Planet Fitness via Saya Recoveries in almost 3 years. CONGRATULATIONS ON SENDING ME MY FIRST STATEMENT EVER FROM YOU. What a joke. And this statement was only sent after I said that I am going to the media and lawyers with my case. Why must I still be forced to pay for something I dont use or never even used and was supposed to be cancelled. I already paid SAY Recoveries if I remember over R3000 During the past two years. and still they want more money. this is totally a case of theft and *****. *****ing your money and still claim that the membership is never cancelled.
