Planet Fitness South Africa - Beware!

Be careful signing a contract and trying to cancel. After my contract ran out, it was on a month to month basis. I was told to pay 2 months after canceling on the 2nd of May. Ridiculous! They weren't working on the 1st and the customer service number does not work that is on the website. I requested that they call me back. I had to call the number that they phoned me from, not the one on the website. According to the Consumer Act, 20 business days can be given to cancel a contract and no reason has to be given. I received a call today asking if I want to join at another location. I just expect my contract to be canceled. I never had this problem with Virgin Active. I decided to go to PF as their rates were cheaper but quickly experienced why. Machines are constantly broken, gym is beyond packed and the personal trainers have no gym etiquette.
