Planet Fitness South Africa

I signed for 12 months membership with Planet Fitness Menlyn Pretoria, then transferred to nearby Planet Fitness Olympus Pretoria. I have been going to gym since, but I had to move to Johannesburg and due to the distance between my house and the gym I requested to cancel my membership but been told that I had 24 months membership. I requested if they could send me the contract that I signed as an email. But been told that they cannot find my documents in their system. Now, I have to continue for another 6 months or need to pay an extra R2300 for an immediate cancellation. I used to go to the Virgin Active before but never seen or heard anything like this before. So, people I strongly suggest if you want to sign a contract with these company Planet Fitness you MUST request for hardcopy of your contract when you sign it.
