Planet fitness **** horror

In November last year whilst visiting Mall@55 I was approached by a sales rep from Planet Fitness, I advised him that I donot want to commit to anything yet my situation was I was suffering from depression and anxiety and thought that excersising would help.. Little did I know what I was getting myself into, the sales person named Letabo these sales reps are manipulative and use misrepresentation in order to sell contracts he also advised me like the many others they have ****med that "because I work for Sars the first 3 months would be free and I had to pay R225 just for administration and the tag at no time was I informed that I was signing a 24 month contract he even advised me that I could cancel in January when I start working again what they do is they just make markings on the contract and tell you where to sign he said my banking details are required just for admin purposes, I discovered that they have debited an amount of 399.00 from my bank account and went back to the Heuweloord planet fitness gym to cancel where I realized what a horrible situation I am in there are cancelation fees after a visit to Planet fitness and a conference call between a sales manager baron and call center agent Pauline where they agreed to cancel the contract yet after that I was told by a supervisor named Thulani Kheswa "how am I going to prove that the sales rep ****med me he was defensive and arrogant, they later blocked me from the face book page after I started exposing the ****, as you can see there are thousands of situations similar to mines on various social media, this is a serious problem, my advice to public is to run in the other direction if u see a planet fitness sales rep or gym... I am going to make an affidavit and report to consumer council I also have legal aid and proof of others ****med the same way I have been ****med there is also no direct emails or direct contact with managers and supervisors it is as though they avoid contact with public who have been ****med I was never handed any documents by the sales rep or advised of any cooling off period please be careful of planet fitness
