PLANET FITNESS RUIMSIG DE*****ING SCHOLARS/STUDENTS
Planet Fitness Ruimsig was quick to call when a child turns 18 to force a student/scholar membership down one's throat. Even with whatsapp confirmation what the new membership is and who will pay this, they had the child sign a contract upon arrival at the gym, on a different membership, from a different bank and on contract basis. Now that I am cancelling this, they call the adult child (turned 18) and threaten him with a cancellation fee.

As per the terms of the contract, if the membership is still within its term, the member or contract holder is responsible for a cancellation fee. However, Planet Fitness offers the option to pay this fee in installments over several months, rather than as a lump sum.
