Planet fitness refuses to cancel my membership

I am so tired of this gym - I have been asking them to cancel my gym membership since August of 2020. I call and they pretend to have canceled and I continue to get debit orders from them. I blocked them from being able to access my account because the contract is supposed to have been canceled and then they take me to attorney's to say I have outstanding payments.

Again a few months later after asking them to cancel the contract they still debit my account???

Can anyone assist? Is there an ombudsman or some sort of consumer rights board that I can contact? I'm tired of planet fitness!!
