Planet Fitness Queenswood

I recently had an unsettling experience at this gym that has left me reconsidering my membership. While I have never had major issues in the past, my recent visit was a different story and has highlighted some serious concerns about the gym's equipment maintenance and overall concern for customer safety.

I was doing box jumps, an exercise I have done many times without incident at other gyms. However, the box at this gym was not sturdy and slipped out from under me, causing me to fall and severely injure my hand. I now cannot use my hand, which has been incredibly frustrating and painful.

This incident is not isolated; there have been numerous times when equipment at the gym was in poor condition. Sometimes they tag the faulty equipment with a sign saying it is broken, but there have been occasions when broken equipment was left unmarked. This lack of consistent maintenance and warning can be very dangerous. My injury is a clear example of what can happen when gym equipment is not properly maintained or when members are not adequately informed about potential hazards.

I urge the management to take immediate action to improve the maintenance of their equipment and to consistently alert members about any issues. Safety should always be a top priority in any gym environment.

Until these issues are addressed, I cannot in good conscience recommend this gym to others.
