Planet fitness - Plattekloof no good

We are deeply disappointed in the service that we have received from you Planet fitness branch in Panorama Cape Town.

My signed up my son on id: 0412*** with a buddy in Feb 2024 through the sales agent. He told us that we can cancel the buddy tag at any time. When it came to cancellation of the buddy tag we were advised by client services, its one month notice. Much to our surprise we gave the notice, in advance as requested, but yet I am debited R598.00 for End April 2024. We brought more than 5 new clients to your gym, we were told 3 months free…pay one month next moth free. To date can you believe no referral loaded, I spoke to your regional manager, I even spoke with the sales manager on the 18.04.2024, to date not one piece of feedback at all. I called, my son called but to no avail since March already, this is unacceptable.

Then i was coerced to take out a 24 months contract for my family, id: 7508***,i did say ot was to long but he sales agent advied in his words, “ don’t worry you can cancel at anytime.” I told him 24 months is too long, however based on his word I trusted him. When I called to cancel I was advised its either you pay R3000.00 penalty or give 4 months notice, I was so shocked. I put in the cancellation!!

My boy is also going to cancel along with his 4 friends who also are having the same problems with your gym. Honesty and integrity go’s a long way when building relationships with clients, “dont chase the sale.”…this was my words to the salesman.

No referrals loaded, total dis-regard for your client and lack of interest for resolution.
