PLANET FITNESS NEVER PHONES BACK

I signed up for a contract with planet fitness where they were supposed to debit my account for membership fees. THEY NEVER DID THIS!!!!! so i made payments at the branch where i signed up at. i wanted to change my membership from one club to national membership and according to headoffice this was done but when i went to another club i was denied entry. because my contract was nearly finished i decided to cancel my membership. 3 months ago i received a call from someone saying they from planet fitness and that i owed them in excess of R8000 for arrears membership fees?!? i then phoned the branch spoke to a patricia in accounts and she said not to worry the contract wasn't cancelled and she will cancel it and no payment needs to be made and that she would phone me back after 48Hrs once everything had been updated on the system. i since left numerous messages for patricia \WHO NEVER RETURN MY CALLS"and everytime i phone in i have speak to someone else who gives me a new reference number and i have just now been advised that this account has been handed over for recoveries. How the hell can you try to recover if i have a open query with you??? Lets see if i get a response..."""
