Planet Fitness may attempt to bully you to cover their errors

I pre-paid a 6 month membership, including a black tag fee, in June 2017. Planet Fitness now claims that the amount quoted, accepted and settled did not include the tag fee for October and November. This clearly absurd as the deal was all-inclusive for a 6 month period, and Planet Fitness has been unable to explain their error. The alleged shortfall of approx. R180 should be borne by Planet Fitness; instead they have chosen to threaten legal action. Buyer beware - this seems to be a company with little interest in accepting responsibility for their mistakes, but happy to use strong-arm tactics to cover their inefficiency.
