Planet fitness lies

I joined planet fitness early in my pregnancy to maintain weight during and after pregnancy, now I knew that I wouldn't be able to attend during the last months of pregnancy and the first few after giving birth and so I made sure to ask about the freezing membership before joining specifically since I knew I would be doing it, both sales agents rep**** it's possible without conditions but now when I try to freeze I'm told my contract my be extended by whatever time I choose to freeze by and I would still pay monthly, these people knew I wouldn't take up themembership if I knew about this, and when I asked them about it they referred me to the call center who keep telling me the same thing even though I have asked that the matter be escalated several times.

Planet fitness must freeze my membership like they said they would without any conditions or go ahead and cancel my membership coz I mean really now ? Why would any reasonable person sign up for additional costs of they knew it was coming? This is the same as before where they refused to freeze my membership after I had a knee operation. They are out tor their own pockets even if it means *****ing their members over. Inconsiderate and selfish in their dealings
