Planet fitness Lakefield, breach of contract!!!

Where do I even begin, I am so disappointed and upset!! I recently cancelled my contract with planet fitness, 2017 towards the end of year. I was approached by them in April 2018, stating they want their old clients back. I was offered a promotion of 3 months free and first debit order to go off end of July!! (Now firstly I had cancelled my contract due to them debiting incorrect amounts. I paid a cancellation fee of R1800!!) - now when i signed up the consultant had told me that first debit order is end of July and annual levy fees in December, which will be double the amount. I was also informed that due to me activating vitality I will pay R162 per month! The 1st July 2018 they debit me R499! And says it's levy fees, how So??? Firstly the dates are incorrect and secondly the amount is incorrect! So who breached contract!?!?!?! Prior to this, I was a member since 2012, I signed up with 2 family members who had also cancelled in 2013 due to incorrect debit orders! Because I am a paramedic and they know the job we do requires fitness, they kept asking me if they could come and advertise at our offices. Also if I could please encourage my colleagues to join! I did!! From 2012 to 2017 I had 6 colleagues join planet fitness, lakefield benoni branch. And all 6 of them including my 2 family members had paid cancellation fees and cancelled their contracts due to incorrect debit orders!! So how many other people are they doing this to who is keeping quiet??! I have lodged a complaint with their head office and almost 2 weeks later and no response! I got an email stating my query has been closed! Phoned them this morning to find out what is going on and they inisited that i pay a cancellation fee of R3500! I have not even received my gym tag which i paid upfront R100 !! I went in and asked to see the consultant of which they sais he is on leave and that i must wait till he is back! Could no one else asisst with issuing the tag???

I went in to the bank about a week ago, and the consultant and I ended up talking about my issue of planet fitness! He had told me he recently signed up with them because they opening a new branch in brakpan, but he has heard so many bad stories about them that he has doubts! Well I say.. spread the word!!! I will never ever again recommend planet fitness to anyone!! Especially coming from the benoni lakefield branch!!!! Quick to take money, but can't deliver!!
