PLANET FITNESS KRUGERSDORP

I took a contract for my daughter last year October 2018. Firstly they loaded my 15 old daughter's name as the account holder for the debit order on the first contract. It is my husbands banking details that we used as I don't have a banking account myself so how they got this *****ed up I just don't know. A week later they phoned me and asked me to complete a new one to fix this, which was emailed to me. I explained to them that I will bring it in the next week as my husband is only at home on weekends and he needs to sign the debit order authorization section. Surprisingly they said I can just sign it. I waited in any event for my husband to get home and he signed it. I handed this in the following week as arranged. Two weeks later Planet fitness phoned me again asking for another debit authorization as they have misplaced the now second one. The strange thing is the debit orders were coming off, no problem. By this time I was so frustrated that I filled it in again but signed it myself as they again said I can. December I dropped my daughter off outside the gym. Before I got home she phoned me and said they are not letting her in as the contract has expired. The joke is they were still taking debit orders from my husbands account. I finally decided not to continue this with Planet Fitness any longer. My complaint is now they are still taking debit orders off the account which we have to get returned every month. This is even after an email to the accounts department and them reassuring us that they have removed us from the debit order list. It has become so bad that this month there are three debit orders each with a very unusual amount and all have different reference numbers. My daughter did Gym for 1 month and a half. The debit order value that has been attempted on our account just this month is R1300. Last month it was R900. If the contract still existed from when we opened it in October to now February it has only been 5 months at a monthly fee of R199 for our contract. We should've only paid a total of R1000 thus far. I complained with them and they told me that we were paying for a certain Kagiso... They then promised it would stop. We are now in March and I am still struggling to get them to stop their blatant theft. Planet Fitness are doing as they please with peoples bank accounts or are just blatant *******. Please be very aware of them before you decide to take a contract with them. We are returning these debit orders and have no choice but to close our bank account to finally stop this and get rid of them forever.
