Planet Fitness Justgym Glenanda refuses to respond to contract query

I left South Africa on the 15th of April and went past Planet Fitness Justgym Glenanda to close my account. I was informed that the cancellation fee would be R1205.66, and that I wouldn't be able to transfer my membership to someone else.

This is not what was told to me when I first signed up. The gym sales manager, Asif, then promised that he would assist in waiving the cancellation fee or possibly having my membership contract transferred to a new customer.

I mailed the gym on 18 April 2018 asking that they keep me updated on the status of my query so I could close the account before the end of the month, but since that time they have not bothered to get back to me. The result is that I am now continuing to pay for a service that I do not use.
