Planet Fitness is *********

Being contacted by a salesman to get a free week at gym I was happily surprised. After going to Planet Fitness to sign up for this free week I ended up getting talked into signing a contract. The salesman said that I would have to pay the full amount this year because I am working but that next year I would be able to pay the student amount because I would be studying again.

After contacting Planet Fitness recently they informed me that I would not be able to change my contract unless I pay the cancellation fee which totals to R3000! This is highly ********* that I am now expected to pay more money than planned because staff members do not inform you correctly just so that they can make the most commission possible.

Not only that but I was not made aware of the fact that I was signing a 24month contract in the first place. I was under the impression that it was a 12month contract. I asked for a copy of the contract I was signing but the salesman failed to provide it.

When I tried speaking to a salesman at the gym he simply suggested I contact customer service because he could not help!

This is very poor service from Krugersdorp Planet Fitness. I am highly disappointed.
