Planet Fitness is messing around with my money

During lock-down I made contact to cancel my membership as I lost my job. I found out that it would have cost me over R2000- , I therefore advised that I would keep my membership, then I advised that my black-tag be cancelled , but they made a mistake and canceled my membership instead. At the beginning of October they took the normal fee of R550- , but also took R1755.60 which overdrew my account by over R1000 and when I contacted them about this they said that they canceled my account (even though they also debited my account with my normal fee as well) and that my account would be credited by that Friday, they refused to pay the R180- charged for overdrawn fees by the Bank for their error. It is now November and I still have not received my refund, and they now also want to me now to pay a fee before they cancel the Black-tag which should have been done some time ago, even though they have taken money from my account which does not belong to them. This left me in a huge predicament as I had to borrow money to pay the membership fees, and at the same time lost most of my R350- Government unemployment TERS grant on Bank charges which was not my error
