Planet Fitness is literally the WORST business. STAY FAR AWAY!

I honestly wish I could give Planet Fitness 0 stars. Endless trouble with them from the beginning. Telling me to sign up with PF on a pro-rata basis while I wait for my other gym membership to be cancelled so my Vitality benefit can be activated. Needless to say it took them a few months to actually activate the Vitality benefit. Which means the first few months I paid full membership. I then went onto the benefit and things were okay. Then I wanted to cancel my membership and that's when **** started. They kept on telling me to phone the following month in order to cancel my membership, I would phone the following month and they would tell me again no phone the following month, this went on for 4 months.

I was then double charged the incorrect amount in a single month, effectively paying 8x what I should have paid. Every time I called the contact centre to query it and get my money refunded I was told a different story. Some agents said that they would refund me no problem, some said that those amounts were normal for my account they won't be able to assist and some told me that a refund is not possible but they will credit my account.

Eventually, they accepted the refund and told me it would take 2 weeks to process, I called them again to follow up because I got a notice that the query was closed. Only for them to advise me that no refund is not possible because they have already credited my account!!

DO NOT SIGN UP AT PLANET FITNESS!!!
